We get a first look at the Roc Star Fall/Winter 2009 Collection Lookbook. As usual the Japanese brand presents a psychadelic collection, consisting of many colorful styles and wild graphics, once again influenced by the 90’s. They used projections and an old camera lense effect on the lookbook, giving the images of a rather modern and colorful collection an interesting look

After previously working with Medicom on the Beatles 1000% Kubrick Set, Silly Thing has now gotten together with Medicom again and with Daft Punk. Together they created the 1000% Daft Punk Kubrick Set. The set was already a huge hit when releasing in the 400% size, we do not even want to know how quick these will sell out. Two years in the planning, the collaborative project is coming closer to a release, whith a date set around October 2009. Image via WAD Magazine.

We get a first look at the new URSUS Bape collection, designed by Tetsu Nishiyama (Tet) of WTAPS. He is the creative director of the new URSUS Bape line from Fall/Winter 2009. The line is an extension to the collaborative t-shirts that were previously only available in Japan. The Bape General’s logo has been transformed into a skull, which makes up the motif of the URSUS logo. The collection will consist of “dark” and “pop-art like” designs with a lot of attention to detail and craftmanship. You can expect to see clothing and accessories, featuring authentic military, work and outdoor inspired pieces. We are definitely looking forward to see the line. Here above a little preview.

Terry Kennedy burst on to the skate scene. Literally. He’s said to have moved from novice to pro in three short years. Since going pro, he’s scored a board with Baker, multiple music video appearances, and a roll in Rob Dyrdek’s Street Dreams. What more could a guy ask for? The answer, for many of us, is simple. A signature shoe. With Supra, TK has found the brand and shortly will launch the “TK Society.” Hype for the shoe has been building for months. Peaks here and there. Chatter all over the web. You might be hard pressed to name a skate model, especially from a smaller label, that has generated as much buzz. With any signature shoe the end product must do a few things - perform and stand out. No doubt, the “TK Society” has stood out from the crowd. In some respects, it captures the tenor of the time. High top. Heavily strapped. It appears geared to fashion. Given that, we wanted to chat with TK about the performance, as well as his involvement in the design process

Italian brand Camo has already impressed us at the last Bread & Butter tradeshow and this time we passed by again and really liked what we saw. The line is growing and continues to attract eyes with smart details and twists on their clothing. The Spring/Summer 2010 Collection consists of nice knitwear pieces, shorts, ties, pants, t-shirts and more. We definitely see the brand next to Wood Wood, Vibskov and such and hope to see them in more stores soon. The collection is made in Italy and thus high in quality.

Here it finally is. We have heard about this for a while and now we can finally show you pictures of the Takashi Murakami x Pharrell Williams x Jacob sculpture, which was made for the Art Basel fair this year. Murakami created a sculpture and Jacob the jeweler re-created some of Pharrell’s products of choice in premium metals and diamonds. After already giving you some previews of the upcoming Nike SB Stefan Janoski sneakers from the launch event that took place in Los Angeles, we can show you today some more detailed images of the upcoming colorways of the shoe for Fall/Winter 2009.
This last weekend the sneaker came out in black and in brown. In July it will be dropping in a reed/stone colorway. In November it comes in obsidian/white, and in December it will come in anthracite/white. We can even show you already an April 2010 colorway – the sneaker will come next year in a sail/sail colorway with perforated leather upper. For the launch event, Nike also created some special make-ups of the sneaker, with horse hair and croc skin uppers. These will not be officially released, at least not for now.

By now, most of you have seen the line-up of sneakers created by Kanye West for Louis Vuitton. Opinions vary on the outcome of the collection. We've always compared the line to what Louis Vuitton has done in the past with sneakers, and think the Kanye West collection beats those efforts by leaps and bounds. Just like in the regular sneaker game, some people like it more colorful, others like it more subtle, and this line-up offers something for both tastes. Personally, we prefer the tonal high tops. We also had the chance to field test them and can tell you that quality and fabrication are very much on point, as to be expected from Louis Vuitton.Having worked recently with Nike on the Air Yeezy, the LV collection is the second major sneaker project by Kanye West. Take a step back and think about what is happening here - we see collaborations all the time with boutiques, brands, artists and other creative fields. How many times can the colors and the materials on the same shoe silhouette be changed and still look new and different from the hundreds of releases we see every year? Kanye West got to design his very own silhouettes in both cases, probably the most impressive part about these projects. With the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton sneakers releasing worldwide in the coming weeks, we wanted to do something out of the ordinary with the footwear Louis Vuitton gladly lent us for this special shoot. We teamed up with German photographer Daniela Muller-Brunke to shine some new light onto the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton collection. To give you some background on the shoot, we used the iconic LV symbols and projected them in different colors onto the background of the sneaker, with the outcome being a psychedelic mix of fading colors. Hopefully you like it.
