Fitted hat retailer Hall of Fame has released the latest cap from their namesake label. Adorned with a lightning-striked H outlined, the cap is constructed from a textured nubuck and features the standard HoF trappings such as the “No. 2 sucks” hit on the side panel. AnOther Magazine has teamed up with colette for a collaborative project called Off The Page, featuring a few of their favorite brands and designers. Peter Pilotto created a new print for an exclusive Mismo bag, Gareth Pugh reinvented Incase’s MacBook sleeve and iPhone shell with an ultra-graphic print, Raf Simons made a CD/DVD case and covered it in black leather and neoprene, Le Labo made a perfume with an ambergris base note scent, and colette created a candle inspired by the smell of freshly printed paper.

Tokidoki, the Italian Manga inspired label, is about to release a new Karl Lagerfeld mini collectible figure. The figure comes in the full Karl outfit, is limited to 1000 pieces and will go for around 190 USD upon release this Holiday season. The figure will be available at Tokidoki flagship stores in New York, Milan and Los Angeles, as well as at specialty retailers such as colette. The K Collection by Karl Lagerfeld will also come out with matching t-shirts, featuring the character version of the designer. Via WWD

Whenever we hear of a brand making clothing inspired by Where The Wild Things Are, we are a little worried that they take it too far and make it too playful, which is most of the times the case. Even the more refreshing it is to see that Opening Ceremony and Spike Jonze worked on a serious (ok, maybe except for the playsuit) collection that hints at the characters of the iconic book and soon to come film.



“The line features a full range of faux fur pieces for both men and women, subtly evoking Max’s crew of wild friends including Carol, Judith, K.W., Douglas, and Bull. The line even includes Max’s iconic one-piece playsuit – complete with furry-eared hood and raccoon tail. To top it off, Pamela Love has also contributed to the project, creating silver and brass men’s and women’s jewelry inspired by the film’s iconography.”



The Where the Wild Things Are collection debuts this Monday, September 28th at Opening Ceremony stores.

Rumors about this collaboration have been in the air for months now and today we can finally show you the A.P.C. x Supreme collaboration collection for Fall 2009. The two iconic brands worked on a two piece capsule of a denim jean and graphic t-shirt. The jean, a specially designed version of A.P.C.’s classic New Standard style, will feature a back pocket embroidery and a removable pin. The tee will come in two colors; red (available exclusively at Supreme stores) and black (available exclusively at A.P.C. Stores).




The A.P.C. x Supreme Capsule Collection will be released in Supreme stores and online on October 1rst. In Japan the line is dropping on October 3rd.

Max's sneaker OBSESSION!

On Friday 18th September, Nike Sportswear and Mercury Music Prize winning recording artist Dizzee Rascal will release the very special, and strictly limited, Nike Air Max 90 ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’ sneaker. Created in a special partnership between Dizzee, Nike Design and long-time Dizzee collaborator and creative director, Ben Drury, Dizzee describes his Nike Air Max 90 as “Stylish but simple. The Air Max 90 is pretty much THE street shoe, ‘innit? It’s quite sporty, but when you get the right colours you can wear it with anything. But with this one we tried to keep it quite plain so it could complete any outfit. It’s functional and there was a pretty deep design process involved”.




Dizzee and Drury collaborative works to date are compelling because there’s a duality. With this design, the almost obvious literal titular graphics are countered by subtle execution. Drury explains, “The tongue—it’s pink. Like a tongue. The ‘u’ in the embroidery takes the form of a tongue. All this is countered by the subtlety and quality of the materials used. Premium leathers complimented with transparent details. With Dizzee, it’s all upfront – he’s straight up, clear. He is in the world’s spotlight. That’s why this shoe is super bright and fresh. Brushed suede may not be most practical material for London, but that reflects Dizzee’s life right now—he gets dropped off on the red carpet, no fronting! We all set out to make a shoe which could take a bit of punishment and still look fresh, which we think we have achieved here” said Drury.



The Air Max 90 ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’ is constructed from a subtle combination of chalk white premium grade soft leather and high knap premium suede. The toe box features an additional perforated detailing in the leather which is carried through the heel wrap. The tongue is contrasting pink premium leather with suede back detail (“the pink tongue was almost an afterthought—looks like a tongue doesn’t it?” —Ben Drury) and features Tongue [right foot] and Cheek [left foot] special red embroidery detail.



The Air Max is further personalised with a reflective Dizzee man heel tab logo, a transparent Swoosh (“My idea for extending the whole transparent thing from the Air mid-sole to make anything I could transparent was partially a response to what I know about Diz. I’ve been working with him for years, and I’ve always found him to be totally transparent in his dealings. He’s honest and all those details, in another way, reflect personality traits ”—Ben Drury) and a special two piece outsole comprised of white and clear rubber revealing Dizzee’s Dirty Stank Recordings logo (“I love the logo graphic on the bottom. The big fly makes it official. No one really sees the bottom but it’s one of them little touches that a sneaker pimp would like—Dizzee Rascal) and two tone laces with reflective stitch details (“the little things, they add nice. Personally, it’s for when I’m onstage, with the lights. Or in a rave, I still like to go out and party, so I’ve got little effects. The way they’ve speckled it into the laces, it’s just subtle. But it’s enough. You don’t see many laces like that either. Some people go mad with the laces. To have laces that reflect like that will be a big deal for some people. I like it that they’re breathable as well. It’s a nice mix.”—Dizzee Rascal)



The sneaker launches just days before Dizzee releases his fourth album ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’. Coming out on Dirtee Stank, it features the huge Number One singles ‘Dance Wiv Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ and new single ‘Holiday’ which sees Dizzee teaming up with Calvin Harris and Chrome, the same duo that Dizzee worked with on ‘Dance Wiv Me.’

Ships General Supply x Danner Mountain Light

Following the low-cut Mountain Ridge release, Ships General Supply continue their collaborative work with Portland, Oregon’s Danner on the more commonly seen Mountain Light. For this season, Ships worked up two luxurious Cordovan leather models - in black and brown – finished with no-mark Vibram soles, giving them somewhat of a dress shoe look. Very similar to what we saw last year, but you know they say; the classics never go out of style. Ships Jet Blue has them on pre-order for an October drop.

TOY2R announces the concepts that were originally seen during Toy Fair earlier this year are now available. In collaboration with Lionsgate, TOY2R has put together an “inspired by” assortment based on the look, theme and classic moments from Quentin Tarantino’s debut 1992 film, Reservoir Dogs.
In celebration of this milestone movie and in honor of Tarantino’s current box office hit, Inglourious Basterds, TOY2R is putting out the 2.5″ Qees – a 25pc blind box collection. Today we can give you a first exclusive preview of the upcoming Johnny Cupcakes x Looney Tunes Collection. The first Johnny Cupcakes × Looney Tunes collection will consist of 4 t-shirts featuring Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, and Foghorn Leghorn.
The line will be available at Johnny Cupcakes stores in Los Angeles, Boston, and the J.C. online shop this Saturday, September 12th at 12:00 noon. The Johnny Cupcakes × Looney Tunes collectible t-shirts will retail for $40 USD, and will be available for guys and girls.

Artist Lance “Link” Montoya (of Primus fame) created three unique sculptures exclusively for California based label The Hundreds. Creative director Bobby Hundreds worked on three matching t-shirts that bear images of each sculpture alongside original mid-90s album art flavored design. Available the morning of Thursday, September 10th, 2009 at both THLA and THSF. As an added bonus, all three of Link’s sculptures will be on display at The Hundreds LA for a short time

Available this month from Freshjive are the second round of items based on classified Pentagon Black Operation patches from the recent book, “I Could Tell You but Then You Would Have to Be Destroyed by Me,” by Trevor Paglen. Two t-shirts styles -“Alone and On the Prowl” and “If I Tell You” – are now available online at Reserve as well as at select Freshjive retailers worldwide. After recently giving you a first look at the Day of the Dead Pack from Nike Sportswear, we can show you some more detailed views today of the Air Max 90 and one of the t-shirts in the collection. For September G-Shock is releasing some new special product – the G-Shock Man Box. They present two box sets, each consisting of a G-Shock watch and a matching vinyl figure. The DW-6900 comes in purple/gold and the BG-5601 comes in white/pink. Both are now available through e-Casio

Japanese brand UCS is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year and got together with G-Shock for the occasion. They made a yellow colorway of the GW-M5600. The watch has a small UCS logo in black just below the dial and a tonal star pattern on the strap. It will be released on September 19th

For Fashion’s Night Out, Bape got together with Kid Cudi and created the Kid Cudi x Milo T-Shirt. The t-shirt will be released in black on September 10th at 6pm at the Bape NYC store

Announcing the premiere issue of The Hundreds Magazine, which, believe it or not, has been one of the long-term goals of the brand since day one. To get things off to a good start, entertainment personality Olivia Munn graces the cover, and you’ll find a feature interview with her inside. There’s also an interview with L.A.-based tattoo artist Jun Cha followed by a preview of new products he designed for The Hundreds. Similarly, there’s an article on artist/sculptor Lance Montoya, who famously designed album covers for Primus, and has recently produced original artwork for The Hundreds too. Fans of the brand will be happy to see that there’s plenty of continuity with The Hundreds’ famous online magazine, including the Ask Yasi page, as well as a “A Day in the Life…YNOT” photo feature. Additional lifestyle features include Ben Hundreds’ guide to eating in Downtown LA, and Bobby Hundreds’ “Ten Albums That I Like (But Music Snobs Will Probably Hate Me For).” And in case you were wondering, there’s no shortage of fashion coverage either, including a Fall 2009 preview, the Fall 2009 product guide, a Fall 2009 Footware guide, a Holiday 2009 preview, the Holiday 2009 product guide, plus profiles of the THLA and THSF retail locations. 74 pages. New pieces from the Undefeated Fall 2009 Collection will be released in the coming days. The new drop consists of crewneck sweaters, hoodies, graphic t-shirts, as well as a strong line-up of caps. The cap line-up includes 5-panel fleece caps, flannel caps, as well as a series of tonal New Era Undefeated Strike Logo caps. Once again a very clean collection by the athletic inspired LA brand.

Reebok get together for another collaboration with Atmos and once again on the Ex-O-Fit Hi Strap. This time the high top sneaker gets a galaxy inspired black/white dot upper. The white dots on the upper and the white outer sole both glow in the dark. The sneaker comes in a black/blue and a black/red colorway and will be available from Atmos from September 1st

Diamond Supply Co. continues their ongoing relationship with DVS Shoes with the third incarnation of the Diamond Supply Co. x DVS J-Dubb 2. Mixing black leather and black epi suede with tiffany green highlights, Jeron Wilson’s pro model is transformed into a Diamond Supply Co. classic. To accompany the release a black epi suede fitted, adorned with a DVS x Diamond insignia, was produced. A tiffany and black colored shoe box rounds out the package.

The Hundreds and Diamond Supply Co. teamed up to celebrate America’s favorite pastime, going head to head, and bringing their best baseball-inspired iconography to the table, including the “Diamond” name in classic lettering, and “The Hundreds” also in a baseball inspired graphic style. The graphic features a baseball diamond in the center, with baseball-y versions of each company’s mascot on either side. The left sleeve print features a “D” and a “TH” separated by two crossed bats over the phrase, “West Coast Sluggers.”

Today we can give you an early preview of an upcoming Nike Sportswear Air Toki Zoom Quickstrike. The Air Toki comes in a black suede colorway, with nubuck leather Swoosh and heel. The sole also comes in black with a red accent. The lining comes in mesh and is nicely padded. Overall once again a very solid Air Toki release that will for sure find its fans. Look out for a September release

Tomokazu Matsuyama has been named the new Artist In Residence for LeSportsac. The Japanese-American artist encourages viewers to confront the “natural chaos” of the social environment. His collection designed for LeSportsac sees two patterns emerge – one gingham print, and another more chaotic design called Splash. A third pattern, Numbers, will be released in October. Six different bag styles are available now at LeSportsac.com.

We present you the new Supreme Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The New York brand once again does not disappoint. The collection is very complete and offers a wide range of t-shirts, shirts, outerwear, hoodies, sweaters, 5-panel caps, New Era caps and accessories. The outerwear is looking really good this season, with the Barbour inspired waxed cotton jacket, the peacoat and the technical layer jacket being our favorites. The beanie and New Era cap offering is also very strong, yet the accessories stand out more. They present a knife, playing cards and other interesting items. Also they offer again their own footwear style this season, this time a mid suede sneaker. Supreme has collaboratied with Disney on a couple of Mickey pieces this season and with Hanes on some basic white t-shirts. The skatedecks this season come in a leopard look. The luggage collection also looks very nice, and consists of backpacks, messenger bags, waist bags and little carabiner pouches, all featuring a grid pattern on the upper.
